When your home is ready to list on MLS, the home must be as good as possible to snag the first buyers!   REALTORS do not like to share feedback that is negative, especially offensive odors!   Maybe you don't even notice?    I do once I walk in the door, and tactfully will try and let you know.

When you walk in from the outside and take a good whiff, and smell smoke, pets or cooking odors, someone is bound to say something.    Cleaning thoroughly before listing once you know you have these odors really helps.   The last thing you want to do is use a plug-in air freshener to "cover up" those smells.

Feedback comments are not to offend anyone, but to let you know and be able to address the problem.   It is my job to get top dollar for you and present the home in the best light.
