There are currently 768 active listings (decrease from 858 in September) over $1 million, with 3 active bank foreclosures and 2 short sale opportunities. (There were 6 short sales one year ago, and 14 bank owned.) There are 126 under contract as of today. Distressed home sales have significantly decreased over the last couple of years.
Of the sales in October 2013, 16 were paid for with Cash, no bank owned property sold, no short sales, and 8 were new construction properties sold by the builder. We are seeing more luxury homes being contracted and built.
