Denver Market Update - November 2014
The Denver real estate market is experiencing the seasonal slowdown, and the inventory seriously decreased once again for the month of November. Denver saw a 18% decrease in listings over the prior month and 2% over a year ago. Sold property saw a 17% decrease over the prior month and the under contract properties saw a 23% decrease over the prior month. The days on market increased by three days - still very low at 37 days. It has not been the weather, the weather in November was very mild and beautiful!
Buyers do not have many homes to choose from in any neighborhood, and the well-priced homes that are ready to move in are going quickly. Many of these homes are seeing multiple offers even in November & December!
