Denver leads the Country in Home Sales
The Denver Business Journal announced Denver is leading the country in home sales showing a 9.1% increase in January. This is the highest rate of appreciation in any State. Denver's growth is 10%, and why the supply and demand is tight in the City. The National average is 5.7%. This data includes new construction, resales, foreclosures and short sales.
These increases are a direct result from the Colorado's job creation Another reason Denver is seeing strong sales is from the FHA reducing the insurance premium which reduces the first time home buyer's monthly payments. Many more first time buyers are looking for their first home.
Seller tips for homeowners contemplating selling their home in the Denver Metro Area.
Looking at home values from December through February, it revealed an 8.1% increase over one year ago. With the historically low interest rates, buyers are taking advantage and looking to move up, downsize or buying their first home. The Denver market is seeing a very strong Seller's market.
