There comes a time where you need to move into a home with everything on one level and no stairs. At this point of life, maybe you no longer want to do the yard work, maintain the exterior of your home or shovel snow anymore. Whatever the reasons, there are a couple communities that focus on senior living.
You will find Heather Gardens in South Aurora off Yale near I-225 and is a 55+ active adult community. You will find high-rise buildings, low-rise buildings, townhomes and patio homes, something for everyone. Residents enjoy the 9 hole golf course and restaurant, clubhouse and all the activities planned. The community is very walkable and not usual to see many residents walking daily.
Easy access to I-225, light rail, Aurora Medical Center and Cherry Creek State Park.
You will find Heritage Eagle Bend off E-470 and Gartrell in Southeast Aurora, 80016. This is an age restricted community and gated. For those active 45+ residents, there is a 35,000 lodge-style clubhouse offering Antero Ballroom, outdoor terrace, Eagle's Nest Restaurant and many small rooms plus the outdoor pool. There is always something going on at Heritage Eagle Bend!
Enjoy the 18-hole championship golf course with panoramic views, and is open to the public. There are single family homes, paired homes and townhomes to choose from.
Let me know if you would like to know more information on either of these active adult communities!
There are other communities that provide ranch (one story living), but not age restricted, and I can assist you with that also.
