Incorporated in May 1981, the Town of Parker offers a small town feel, yet not far to Denver.
The Town of Parker is Southeast of Denver approximately 20 miles. Parker is East of I-25 off Lincoln or Hess and also from Parker Road south of I-225. It is a quaint town that is commonly called a bedroom community. It has the small town feel, yet has lots to offer. The Parade of Homes was held in Pradera in Parker in 2005. The downtown area has a Western-Victorian feel.
Land mass - approximately 21.5 square miles
Population - 64,073 in Parker proper, this does not include rural Parker which has a Parker mailing address. This population has grown tremendously over the last few years.
Elevation - 5,950 feet
The largest employers in Parker are - Chuck Lantham Associates, Mountain Man Fruit & Nut Co., Parker Adventist Hospital, King Soopers, Rocky Vista University, Costco and BrightView Landscape Services.
